ONTARIO FIRE CODE SECTION 2.6 - SERVICE EQUIPMENT

Wet and dry kitchen suppression systems shall be inspected semi-annually by the terms of the Ontario Fire Code and NFPA 17, 17A and 96. Fusible links must be changed annually or more frequently if mandated by the manufacturer.

Fire Code NFPA 96. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is the governing body providing the minimum codes of standards for the kitchen exhaust cleaning industry via the NFPA 96: Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations.

Centurion Fire Control will perform semi-annually inspection and maintenance to all makes of kitchen systems as per N.F.P.A. Standards, the Ontario Fire Code as well as the newest U.L. 300 standards.
