Kitchen Suppression System
Opening Day - Lunchbox Cafe
On March 6, North Halton Community Living in Milton opened the Lunchbox Cafe restaurant and takeout facility (located at Nippissing and Thompson).
Centurion Fire Controll was proud supplier and installer of the kitchen suppression system. These Amerex systems are unsurpassed in quality and reliability. Centurion designs the system and completes the install in accordance with manufacturers specifications and all codes and standards.

Fire College
In September, Centurion was proud to participate in the grand opening of the new lab at the Ontario Fire College in Gravenhurst, Ontario. At our request Sava Fire in Mississauga donated an Amerex Kitchen Suppression System to the College and Centurion donated the installation labour. On day 1 of the week long annual convention for Fire Prevention Officers, the Ontario Fire Marshall and other officials did the lab opening ceremony and presented the dedication a plaque to honour firms donating to the lab.

As part of the conference later in the week, Centurion demonstrated to 120 Fire Prevention Officers how to do a proper 6 year maintenance on a portable fire extinguiser. We also demonstrated the various pieces of equipment used for testing and maintaining various fire suppression systems. We and our trailers were greeted with tremendous enthusiasm and support.
